Tonkin Trophy

The Group was placed 3rd in 2006 which was a most pleasing result after having been out of the top 10 for the previous two years (after a run of over 15 years in the top 10).

The Group was not placed in the top 10 in 2004 and 2005.

The Group came 10th in the Tonkin Trophy for 2003.

The Tonkin Trophy is awarded to the 'best' Group in the Cape Western Area.  Factors such as Star Awards, Competition results, Group Magazine are taken into account.

After many years of being in the top 10 Groups and having many 2nd places in the Cape Western Area, we finally won this Trophy in 1998 and 1999. We came 2nd in 2000.
