Winter Expedition

The Winter Expedition is back again and is now open for applications. As per usual there is limited space available so it will be a first come first serve situation for the most part. As such, ensure that you get your details in quickly so as to avoid disappointment.

All information that you will need can be found below. We will update it as we go so please do ensure that you check back regularly.

Administration

In order to ensure that we have everything you will need to complete the Google Form shown below. In addition to that you will need to submit a fully completed Consent Form before your application will be considered.

To begin, you will need to download the Parent Consent Form and then submit it to your relevant Point of Contact listed above.

Once you have submitted your application through the sign up form below you will need to submit your fully completed consent form to your point of contact (listed above). Ideally we would like it to be completed electronically but if you do choose to fill it in by hand and then scan please do ensure that the writing is legible.


Kitlist

Below is a basic kitlist that you are able to adhere to. It is by no means limited to what is below. Please do bear in mind that you will have to carry what you bring so pack smart.

Catering

– Mess Kit (Knife, fork, spoon, plate, bowl, mug, drying cloth)
– Dishwashing Liquid
– Gas stove
– Pot for cooking
– Kettle (optional)
– Matches

Sleeping

– Hiking Pillow
– Hiking Mattress/Roll Mat
– Sleeping Bag
– Sleep clothes (if you so choose)
– Ground sheet

Clothing

– Sufficient clothing for six days
– Warm clothes
– Rain coat
– Hat
– Walking shoes/hiking boots
– Flip flops

Toiletries

– Toothbrush/Toothpaste
– Shower Gel/Soap
– Medications
